A strapping machine without a strapping arch is called a semi-automatic strapping machine. These machines are designed so that the user places a box or other object to be strapped on the strapping machine table top. The user then manually places the plastic strapping around the object and into the strapping slot. The strapping machine then automatically tensions the strapping around the product, seals the strapping, cuts the strap and dispenses more plastic strapping for the next strapping cycle.
Most semi-auto strapping machines can be adjusted for the amount of strapping to be pre-dispensed, the tension strength and the heat used to seal the plastic strapping.
