Core Size Measurement
First measurement is the inside face of the strapping roll, then the core inside diameter.
Quality Strapping produces cores sizes for all strapping manufacturer equipment. Our polypropylene and polyester strapping are compatible with all polyester strapping manufacturer specifications.
The size of the paper tube the plastic strapping is winded on is measured by core size. The first number in the measurement is the inside core diameter. The second number in the measurement is the width of the face of the strapping coil.
For example: A 16×6 core has an inside hole (core diameter) of 16 inches and the face of the strapping (the width of the strapping winding) is 6 inches.
Quality Strapping manufactures plastic strapping in multiple core sizes to fit all brands of strapping machines and strapping cart dispensers.
